2022
Honda Insight
Two of the main strengths of the 2022 Honda Insight are
excellent fuel economy and multiple intuitive features. This hybrid sedan is
also capable of providing a very balanced ride. The car offers enough space for
four adults and offers a good amount of safety features.
Trims to Select from
at Honda Morristown:
The LX will no longer be available as a version for the 2022
Honda Insight; Instead, this hybrid sedan will only be available in two
versions: Touring and EX. The base EX version has a pretty good list of safety
and tech features that make it a great choice, with front and rear parking
sensors that can be installed on both models for the same price.
Exterior Appearance:
Many buyers will likely remember the Accord when looking at
this vehicle from the front. LED headlights are standard on EX and Touring trim
levels. Chrome can be seen on the top of the grille, with the Honda logo on
top. Customers can also expect LED daytime running lights as standard at the
2022 Insight, and the Touring equipment also offers LED fog lights. Chrome
window frames are standard in both designs. There are heated, electrically
adjustable exterior mirrors painted in the vehicle color. There isn't much body
line here, although a sloping roofline is certainly seen. While 16-inch alloys
are available on the EX, 17-inch alloys are available. The wheels are visible
in the Touring equipment variant. A body-colored shark fin antenna is located
near the stern. LED taillights are standard on this vehicle. Chrome accents are
present on the lower bumper (touring). A single exhaust outlet was hidden at
the bottom right.
Engine Specs and Fuel
Economy:
Regardless of the equipment trim, Honda offers the same
hybrid engine. It is a 1.5 liter in-line Atkinson cycle4 engine with 2 electric
motors from Honda, producing a combined power of 151 hp and a torque of 197 lbs.-ft.
A CVT (continuously variable transmission). Since it is a hybrid, the maximum
torque is generated right at the start. 060 mph increases in 7.3 seconds, which
is very impressive for a hybrid vehicle. Economy, that's 55 MPG in the city and
49 MPG on the highway.
Interior Appearance:
The boot of this vehicle offers 15.1 cubic feet of space,
along with a decent amount of in-floor storage space and a tire inflator kit.
