2022 Honda HR-V

2022 Honda HR-V

Despite the fact that compact SUVs appear to be in high demand all around, their attractiveness stems from their practicality. The Fit hatchback will be phased out of production this year, according to Honda. Despite its basic appearance, the inside appears to be well-built and equipped with numerous comforts. Only minor changes have been made to the Honda HR-V for 2022.

Select From These Trims

The Honda HR-V is expected to be available in four trim levels in 2022, as listed below:

• Sport

• LX

• EX

• EX-L

The EX is the best bargain among these trims, with more standard features than the Sport. This is without a doubt one of the most practical subcompact SUVs available. FWD (Front Wheel Drive) and AWD (All Wheel Drive) are the two driving modes available for this vehicle (All Wheel Drive). In comparison to the previous iteration, no changes have been made to the 2022 HR-V.

What Does It Look Like From the Outside?

Simple projector headlights and the standard Honda grille can be seen upfront. Although this style isn't very masculine or athletic, it does appear balanced and mature. The bottom of the front grille on the 2021 Honda HR-V Sport is gloss black. LED daytime running lamps are included with this trim. There are decorative lines on the hood, but they do not flare upwards.

This car has 7.4 inches of ground clearance, which is rather good for a subcompact SUV. Because side mirror indicators are not integrated, customers will be able to see side skirts. The window's handle has been linked to the back door's handle. Expect 18-inch wheels on the flanks. Roof rails are also included with the HR-V.

With an integrated wiper and spoiler, the back of the 2021 Honda HR-V looks robust. Partially LED taillights look to be quite large and there is a single exhaust outlet at the right bottom of the vehicle.

Underneath the Hood

For 2022, a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine with 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque is available in the Honda HR-V. A CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is combined with this engine. Honda clearly does not believe in messing with a winning formula, as the current model is identical to the prior year's model.

This vehicle gets 26 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway, making it a very cost-effective vehicle to own.

On the Inside

Buyers will not find an automatic lift gate here. The back seat contains 24.3 cubic feet of space, which is a lot for such a little vehicle. The following features can be found inside the Honda HR-V Sport in 2021:
